I havea whirlpool washing machine it leaks water near the pump or basket hose how do i remove the outer box?

i need to know how to take the metal outer covering off it sort of unwraps so you can work on the inside.I havea whirlpool washing machine it leaks water near the pump or basket hose how do i remove the outer box?
There should be several screws on the back to remove the back panel. Once that is done, look for clips or screws to remove the control panel (mines on top at the back). You may not have to remove the top that surrounds the tub, but again there should be clips and/or screws to do that. Just look under the lip and see if you find any. Taking the back off should reveal the guts of the machine.. good luck! Oh yeah.. turn off the power and water before you start this!
