If it is the one that keeps it from spinning when the lid is open you can easily replace it or tighten its mounting screws. You could also twist the two wires together to defeat it to use the machine while you are waiting for a replacement. The lock switch, just use a popsicle stick and unlock it
Call for repair. Sears does a great job and are not that expensive.
