i have the same problem, and today mine had a pool of water sitting at the bottom of the clothes (more than half a bucket full) - would appreciate any helpful answers. can't find the instruction booklet either to check if there's something simple i can fix. i cleaned the filter about 3 weeks ago, am thinking maybe i put it back in incorrectly....

Whirlpool washing machine?
for the last week or so it wouldn't go into the spin cycle now the whole machine has lost power but the outlet it is plugged into seems to be fine. any ideas what could be wrong? something that is easily fixed or will I have to call a repairman? any ideas about how much this could set me back $$$?Whirlpool washing machine?
