Why does my Whirlpool washing machine not spin out the water? And why is caps rude?

The cycle timer is not activating the pump and spin cycle. Try http://www.repairclinic.com/ for some tips.

In Internet etiquettes, TYPING IN ALL CAPS IS CONSIDERED YELLING. IF SOMEONE YELLED AT YOU, WOULD YOU THINK THEY ARE BEING RUDE? Also, using upper and lower case letters is easier to read. Why does my Whirlpool washing machine not spin out the water? And why is caps rude?
If your washer is washing ok, but the motor does not run in the spin cycle - your door switch is defective - replace it.

If the motor runs in the spin cycle, but does not pump out the water, then your pump is clogged or defective.

As far as caps is concerned, somebody else took it upon theirselves to dictate to the rest of us morons what is rude and what is not.Why does my Whirlpool washing machine not spin out the water? And why is caps rude?
to answer the 2nd question

using caps is a computer etiquette for YELLING
Check for a bad lid switch if it dosen't pump out or spin. If it pumps out you have a bad drive coupling between the motor and gearcase.

This only applies if the washer is less than 15 years old.
I'll tackle the latter first: it's considered shouting online.

on the first, it could be the timer, missing a cycle.
your drain system may be restricted, plastic housing timer defective, metal housing timer defective, water level switch not resetting.go to www.repair clinic.com or American-appliance.com
