My Whirpool washing machine keeps showing the red `clean pump' warning light. What can I do to fix it? I have already been onto the Whirlpool website and followed their instructions to drain the excess water, clean the filter and check the pump is moving freely. There were two coins and something else tangled around the pump movement but I removed these. When I reset it though, it started off ok then showed the same light all over again. I keep pressing the start button and it does try to start up again, then just stops, with the light on. I am wondering if it could be anything to do with the door seal, which is a bit warped these days. I just haven't got round to buying a new one. But I can't see how it is related to that, really!
Please offer me some advice so I don't have to pay stupid money for a call out, in case it's a simple job that I can fix myself!

Fill the washer up put it in drain and lift the drain hose out of the stand pipe and look at the flow rate, if clear it will be strong if not take the pump apart agian and see if something else did not get caught. This light goes by time how long to pump out, may be the drain hose has a kink and some hoses have a check valve in them and junk gets stuck there!My whirlpool AWO/D 4305 washing machine continually has `Clean pump' warning light coming up. I think you still have debri stuck in the pump, take off both hoses on either side of the pump and check for a partial blockage, check the hoses too! Bra wires are a normal problem getting stuck in the pump, check your bras and see if all the wires are in them. Have a great day.
sometimes if there are things in the pump it can damage the pump so when it is cleaned out the pump is still damaged. maybe you need a new pump
if you had two coins in there , there must be a big ole in your filter

so in this can say, there is indirectly a relation between door and drain
but after reseting to preset even no changes so sharply look to symptoms exactly what is happening, suspected thing i can say in ur machine maybe ur door safety switch is faulty close the door properly........... is that fully electronic instrumentation or electromechanical, and also you may take care of the door gasket while operating and pls give me the progress report.... thanx i'm waiting for the feedback result !.....

Top loaders are not as efficient as front loaders. However, these machines have benefits. These are better choices for those with small families. It is easier to use and maintain. In addition to that, this machine is better for people suffering from back pain condition. Unlike front loading washers, you don't have to bend down to load and unload your clothes.
